They could have sailed the LCH's to the Philippines it's not that far from where they operated in Australia. Would have been good training for the Philippines navy to get to know the vessels take some Australian seariders as observers as a safe guard. Cost to transport them on a ship lift for a short passage seems a bit silly. But I suppose they have a reason for it.
