I always think of the Modern RAN being anytime after the equipment was "fitted with" and not "fitted for"

Like it says, current RAN.

Like these shots of HMAS Anzac off Sydney heading for the EAXA.

Someone changed the title. I assume that someone will transfer the shots to the old RAN when these ships retire from the RAN or get upgraded. :D

Last deployment for Success (and Newcastle). A true workhorse! Let's hope her replacements will be as reliable.
Flight-Deck paint on Canberra looks a little jaded.

Surprised if it is Success's last deployment.

I was under the impression NUSHIP Supply would replace Sirius with NUSHIP Stalwart, the second ship, replacing Success.

Is Success really in that bad condition?

Hmm, don't know if it is Success's last deployment, but I bet it would be a race between her and Tobruk for who did the most miles in the last 30 years.
I served on Success and you were always at sea.

Cheers

Hi Mike & Robert,

You might both be right, but look at this link, scroll down to title above the middle picture.

As far as Newcastle goes, see title above second picture.

I also saw a news report when both vessels left Fleet Base East where it was also stated that Indo Pacific Endeavour 2019 was to be the 'curtain call' for both.
