Today marks 110 days at sea for HMAS Sirius and 100 days for HMAS Stuart, HMAS Hobart and HMAS Arunta as a deployed Task Group in South East Asia and the Indian Ocean.

They must have been expecting that there was a possible threat of anti-shipping missiles being fired with the Mk36 SRBOC loaded with live CHAFF rounds.

They had just passed through the South China Sea being trailed by the Peoples Liberation Army Navy (the Chinese Navy).
Apparently they got the usual 'you should leave Chinese territorial waters' rubbish.

Sirius must be getting closer to being paid off, her crew are needed to bring Stalwart home from Spain.
They did the same with Success for Supply and the FFG sale to allow the upgraded Anzacs to be crewed.
Gives you an indication how tight the Navy's personnel issues are.

Well, I certainly check-in VERY regularly Mike, and always enjoy looking at the images you post. It must be time consuming, but certainly worthwhile for us Warship enthusiasts.

HMAS Choules in Port Moresby delivering five former Queensland Fire and Emergency Services fire trucks to the Papua New Guinea Fire Service.
The size of the people on the wharf and flight deck brings home just how big Choules actually is. Smaller than Adelaide and Canberra she still looms large over the rest of the fleet.
