Sunday dawned sunny but windy but a good turn out from the FBP members. Present on the day was Andrew, Nigel, Bob. Glenn, Ron Bob Hall, Pete and Ron. A good selection of boats were present from HMAS Toowoomba, HMS Manchester, HMAS Darwin, USS Missouri, USS Skipjack.

Sailing around the lake was short and swift as the wind was blowing onto the lake and the boats ended being nothing more than weed collectors which caused some frustrations to members. Normally this time of the year, the lake is down by about 2 metres and we have to wade out to the water and allows us a small inlet and anchorage to be present; however this year. the council to of kept the water levels high and currently it has become a little perilous, which means monitoring. If it continuous we may seek an alternative lake to utilise when the levels are this high.

The only boat successfully sailing was Pete's USS Skipjack that managed to duck beneath the waves but on one occasion, it surfaced with its flotsam training behind.

A good crowd gathered watching the boats and a good mornings catch up and enjoyed by all.
