RAM panels on Ticonderoga class cruisers

It seems the US Navy has started to attach Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) panels to the vertical surfaces of Ticonderoga class cruisers to reduce their radar return, as seen in these images

Be a pain to do in 1:72 scale, unless you used some of the Evergreen 'novelty' textured sheets if the squares were roughly the right size.
