County (Devonshire) Class 1960

Hi. Has anyone built a (1960) County (Devonshire) class destroyer eg HMS Glamorgan in 1:72 scale as I am unsure if one has ever been built? Any info greatly appreciated! Thanks. AL.

There is some movement towards a County class, a plug for a County class hull is under construction (very much a part time process) by several members.

It will be interesting to see one on the water but they were big bastards, and the 1:72 version will be as well.

Probably 2-3 years away before one is completed.

Allan Pew has had the 1/72 scale county class hull plus some decks etc available for 2 > 3 years now.
