Hi, Kim thanks for the kind words. I have been building 1/72 scale models since the 80s. Over here in Glasgow, UK, There wasn't any manufacture's making kits in 72. So we had to build and develop our own ships. what you see is a fraction of what I have and a few close friends.
What you see from the pics is various navy days, and recent shows. My aim is to help support local clubs and charities and meet people like minded and enjoy the hobby.

Hi Bruce, thank you for the kind words, there is only a select few, used to be more of us but usual misunderstandings caused the usual fall outs.
If I was to list what I have, and what I am planning and what I am researching. I would need a forum to myself. lol
If I lived till I was 200 still not enought time to do it all.

I like the build of the Long Beach, did you build your own hull? its one that I have thought about.

Yea I drew up all the frames and shapes I have always liked the US Nuke cruisers, Long Beach handles rough conditions well which is one of the benefits of a big model, the only draw back is she takes approx. 15mins to set up!
I like all the type 23's in one of your pix's I might do one eventually, got a few project's 2 get thru first !!

Cheers Bruce :nuke: :nuke:

must admit, i am like a kid in a candy store always finding something new to try, never get to finish what i started.
from ww2 to modern ships.
the t23 was built from the ships plans, when we took it to the launch of the real one, they kept looking to see why it was so accurate. lol if only they knew.
if you need any pics or something happy to help.

Cheers Mate,
The other RN ship I'd like 2 do probably before a 23 is the RFA Diligence She would make an intrestin model, I have some drawings of her decks but no frame drawings. I have a big list of ships I'd like 2 build but I figure I can do 2 a year ( or maybe 3!! :dots: :dots: )

Cheers Bruce

no problem, thats another one in the list before I am 200. I think I have the plans some where for her. I will have to think where I last saw them. I must have about over 100 plans. I see it has history and the other half see's it as fire paper. lol
