Representing Task Force 72 in the State of Victoria, centred in Melbourne, is Fleet Base Victoria.  We have nineteen members with some distributed around the state.
As with most club memberships our fleet consists of a mixture of working models and those under construction.  There are a few capital ships in the fleet, with more under construction.  We also have some destroyers, frigates, corvettes and submarines as well as support craft, ocean going tugs and coastguard vessels.

Regular sailing is held at Albert Park Lake in Melbourne usually on the first Sunday of each month.  Please check the calendar. We generally meet from around 9.30am and sail our ships until around 3.30pm, with a break for our BBQ.

Our camp location is in the ‘Swan Picnic Area’ at the Northern side of the lake close to the Albert Sailing Club and behind the Lakeside Stadium for athletics.  Sailing is off the jetty and pontoon area adjacent to the Albert Sailing Club.  If you set your GPS to the corner of Aquatic Drive and Albert Road Drive, you should find us.

The picnic area has the usual amenities plus BBQ’s, some picnic table seating and plenty of big Oak trees for the summer months.  There is small cafe nearby.  We can unload/load models from the sail club’s trailer parking area adjacent to our sailing location.  Vehicle parking is mainly on Aquatic Drive with parking also available on Albert Road Drive.

You are most welcome to come and visit us.
