Jan 2nd Sunny Rymil Park

G'day ALL,
We had a beauty of a day here in Adelaide with a good turnout of Local members and some good running with HMS HOOD making her 1st re-powered run in home waters,Jim Warren had HMAS Vampire sporting a coat of paint, Scotty had USS Scott DDG-995 (KIDD class) back in service for a good run and we managed some well timed OOW evolutions with USS Scott and USS Long Beach CGN-9 for several minutes until we had 2 go evasive 2 avoid ducks and a little dingy!! Richee had his completed Lipo powered USS Saucy inaction, Vince had FFG HMAS Sydney running, and Brenton had DE HMAS Parramatta , Graham D and new member Tom rolled up without ships, GD is still on the walking wounded list with pinched nerve in neck and Tom is at the building a hull stage on HMS Hermes R12. And my tug hull for "Southern Titan" got a test run briefly..
Here R a couple of teaser pic's until the mission report gets posted!!

Cheers Bruce :nuke: :nuke:

Looking forward to the Mission Report details Bruce.

Fore and aft mooring can look quite impressive, especially when you have a large number of models all lined up.

It works well reducing the space LB requires from about a 8m dia circle down to a 3.5m long box and prevents unnecessary damage from changes in wind direction in the shallow section we like 2 use as the anchorage.
