How ship models are used by the USN. Love their indoor pool.

I've watched a couple of his videos, fascinating stuff.

So following the maths, a 1:72 model simulating 15kn would need to do 1.8kn?

And a high speed camera onboard would need to be slowed down 8.5 times to match. Which, to make watchable at say 24FPS, would require filming at least 204FPS (24 x 8.5 = 204) else it look more like a time lapse.
