Indian cruiser Mysore (former HMS Nigeria) alongside HMS Hermes, during the transfer by jackstay of Indian officers to the British Carrier during the 11th annual Commonwealth Joint Exercise Jet, March 1961. Hermes, decades later, would find a new lease of life with the Indian Navy post Falklands War.

INS Jalashwa (Hippopotamus in Sanskrit) is the flagship of Eastern Fleet, formerly USS Trenton, she, along with six Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King helicopters were procured from the United States by India for a total of US$90 million in 2005. She was commissioned on 22 June 2007.

INS Rajput (D51) will be decommissioned on 5 April 2021 at Vishakapatnam. 2nd Indian Navy Kashin to be decommissioned, following INS Ranjit last year.

HMIS Godavari U52 was a Black Swan-class sloop commissioned into the Royal Indian Navy in 1943. She was transferred to the Pakistan Navy in 1947 becoming PNS Sind, and was broken up in 1959.

Sydney based Indian naval enthusiasts might like to know Kolkata and Sahyadri are in. Kolkata is at FBE 1 (Harry's), Sahyadri was still ginning about the harbour the last time I looked.
