Task Force 72

Any advise where I can locate the anchors for my DDG build. ( HMAS Hobart) I looked around on google but had no luck, I have come close though.

I got the stbd side anchor from shapeways I had the designer modify something he was already selling which wasn't quite the right shape! I originally got these for my USS California...you get a pair of em so you have a spare if you lose one! These are $56.88AU plus postage

The Bow anchor came with the APS kit but you could use the Fleetscale USN white metal version it really nice and only about $8Au plus postage

Hey Ray, if you order one, get one for me too. Save on postage for two separate ones, as I want one for my BRISBANE.

Purchased before receiving your post Russ. But I did buy two of one type anchor, so can send to you. The other I hope is a pair, if so can send as well.

Which are you after Russ the Shapeways or the Fleetscale?? I have a couple of Fleetscale ones spare I bought for our various Burke builds but they are too tight a fit for the APS DDG51 hull...unless you have it hanging by the chain....

Hi Guys,

I was after the Fleet Scale one as it is the Stem anchor. The side Danforth anchor I make up myself. If you have a spare for the CFA DDG, I'm happy to buy it off you.

Hey Russ, like my advocacy work its about mate ship. So I will send it to you when it arrives, do not pay me. If off course it was expensive, well that would be different.
