G'day I'm new here and hopefully this is the right place for this.
I'm retired (Army) and have always liked ships so I thought I would have a go a building one. Currently have the plans (APS)
for a Bathurst class. I am watching the build on this site with great interest.
I'm sure that my time here will be of interest and I will certainly learn.
Bob

Re: New here
Welcome aboard, hope you feel at home.
Our Annual Regatta is taking place at Wentworth Falls Lake in the Blue Mountains in Sydney's West across Saturday and Sunday of this weekend (4 & 5 December).
If you can make it I would heartily recommend attending, as it will give you a fantastic chance to meet people who are passionate about their hobby and who are more than happy to pass on their experiences and expertise.
There will almost certainly be several Bathurst class corvettes attending, so it would be a great opportunity to examine these models up close, to give you an idea of what can be achieved and how to go about it.
If you can make it, please ask for me as I would be pleased to welcome you.
Hope to see you there
Mike

Re: New here
Mike thank you. I would dearly love to be able to get down there next Saturday but too short a notice.
Can you or someone put me in contact with the Brissy rep if you have one here.
Steve thank you for the welcome. I'm sure I'll enjoy my time here and also learn a hel of a lot.
