Australia Day COmbined EXercise 2011

Greetings all,

Following the success of the 2010 COEX (COmbined EXercise) we will once again be holding a series of running days around the country on or around Australia Day, Wednesday 26 January.

Fleet Base Perth

FBP has hosted a run on Saturday, 16 January at Sanctuary Waters.

Fleet Base Canberra

FBC will hold a run from 0900 to 1200 at Diddam's Close on Wednesday the 26th. Dave Peterson has more details.

Fleet Base Greater Sydney

FBGS will hold a run at Wentworth Falls on Australia Day, Wednesday 26 January, from 9.00 AM. Please contact John Konda for details.

Fleet Base Hunter Central

FBHC is exploring a possible venue for an Australia Day running day, with further details posted as soon as they are confirmed.

More details will be promulgated as soon as we have them

Update:

Fleet Base Hunter Central is joining with members of the Newcastle Model Boat Club to undertake a joint Australia Day run at Tarro in the Hunter.

To quote our illustrious VP, Allan Pew;

A combined day with Newcastle club at their local play pond at Tarro, postcode 2322, entrance off
Anderson Drv, next to the railway line, starting around midday, finishing ........... whenever !
