Penrith Regatta Centre 30 July 22

A small collection of Sydney members, about six or seven, decided to brave what was supposed to be cold and unwelcoming conditions at Sydney International Regatta Centre at Penrith, to find we were greeted by 17 degrees, cloudless skies and water like glass, with barely a breath of wind.
It was a great run, with Knox class USS Kirk, V&W class HMAS Vampire, AOR HMAS Protector, Flower class HMS Campanula, the partially built Halifax class frigate Vancouver and the coastal freighter Talacre, plus a non-scale Russian corvette all enjoying the conditions.
A very pleasant morning's sailing.
The only downside was the water quality, it looked fine, but when we removed the models they had a ring of staining on the hull, needing some cleaner and elbow grease to shift.
In some ways very reminiscent of running at St George.
