Re: January 30th Rymill Park
Well it was a tad warm yesterday with the Temp at 32deg C by 8.30 Everybody rolled up early except Brenton who hadn't checked his e-mail!! We got some good sailing in Chris turned up with his sub and French tug(1/50) and he got some good video from a keychain camera mounted in a tic tac box on the Sub!! We had some fun when USS Saucy had a drive failure and we spent 10mins trying 2 play push tug with an assorted bunch of much larger vessel's!! I also brought along some modular dock sections I made up over the X-mas/new year period and we had USS Long Beach and USS Scott moored out there.
Cheers Bruce

Ya beat me 2 it !! Was just about 2 post it!! Chris (aka Oztruck on the RcGroups site) is starting a build of the Lindberg 1/72 Japanese sub as an Rc conversion 2 be kitted out as the sub which launched a sea plane over Sydney and shelled Newcastle during WWII, He also has been given an old sandwich constructed hull (approx 1.8-1.9m x23-25cm beam) that he is going 2 turn into a WWII Submarine tender.

Yeah well I have only know him on the SD's site for a short time, in that time I humbly label him as a genius. He so bloody inventive and a true innovator. - Like I said something in the water down their.
Can't wait to see the little cam unit he mounted and where he got it from.
