Mission Sitrep No. FBGS-1801 January Mission Report

Weather: Warm (35c), light NE breeze.
Ships in Attendance: USS Kimberly, HMAS Macquarie, Empire McDermott, HMS Visby

Mission Actions: Very early start to beat the heat and as it turns out, the Local Anglican Church congregation were on hand for a full immersion adult christening.
Plenty of run time, with Kimberly and Macquarie getting in some ‘formation’ sailing.
Rob’s Visby undertook sea trials and performed well, pump jets working well …… just a little water leak to be investigated.
Late morning, the big PT boats came out. Peter’s 104 and Dave’s green machine.
Just before noon, decision made to call it a day and head home for lunch.
