Founded in late 2008 and representing Task Force 72 in the state of Western Australia, centered in Perth, is Fleet Base Perth.

We have 18 members with some distributed around the State, from Kununurra in the North to Albany in the deep South.

The Membership of our fleet consists of a mixture of 1/72 scale models and those under construction. There are a few capital ships in the fleet, with more under construction. We also have a number of aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, corvettes, patrol boats and submarines as well as support craft, ocean going tugs and coastguard vessels.

Regular sailing is held at Jackadder Lake in Woodlands Perth, usually on the first and third Sundays of each month, weather permitting.

We generally meet from around 8.30am and sail our ships until around 12 noon. We do have a BBQ breakfast periodically during the summer months.

We operate at the Western side of the Lake. Close to the Birchwood Ave shopping centre. We generally purchase our morning tea, coffee etc, from the local cafe. Toilets are available at the shopping centre.

Sailing our models is off the small beach and most models are generally left on their moorings when not sailing.

We unload/load our models from either the small carpark or the street parking verge near our sailing spot.
