Date of Mission: Uniting Seniors Day Wednesday 20 February 2019
Location of Mission: International Regatta Centre Penrith
Weather:
A few showers in the morning threatened the day however by 1000 hrs it had cleared to a pleasant day.
Ships in Attendance:
In order to give the Seniors are variety of models to view we decided to make the days run any scale model boat. We had Frigates, Merchant ships, Patrol Boats and Tugs present.
Members in Attendance:
Peter Schroder, Brian McKellar, Tony Page, John Konda, Michael & Robyn Brown.
Mission Actions:
This is the second year in a row that we have attended the Seniors day and the members present and guest Des Eustace put on a good sailing exhibition which was enjoyed by the Seniors present. Des’ little tug had plenty of grunt helping push a windless stranded dinghy back to the pontoon. We are looking forward to an invitation next year.
